In this artwork, I aimed to capture a captivating sense of flow. The fishes gracefully enter the piece, resembling tidal waves as they navigate around and through the diver. Forming an arch, they invite us to imagine the multitude of creatures that surround them, a hidden world waiting to be revealed if we could only zoom out. The experience of being submerged in the deep ocean, with its inhabitants completely engulfing you, evokes an overwhelming sense of awe and reminds us of our own smallness.
Originally created for the London exhibition called "Amazing Adventures: An Exhibition of Art Inspired by the Works of Jules Verne," presented by the Little Chimp Society and H.A.I. It draws inspiration from Jules Verne's timeless novel, "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas," allowing you to embark on a visual journey into its depths.
