For quite some time now, Flower Horn Cichlids have been popular within the Asian community due to the distinctive black marks on their sides, which bear a resemblance to Kanji or Han characters. These fishes held great significance for my father, who cherished them and even owned a few of these exotic species in the past. In creating this artwork, my intention was to capture the feeling diving into the sea and encountering a school of these visually striking fish. The play of sunlight, casting its glow and piercing through the water's surface, adds to the ethereal quality of the scene, evoking a dreamlike ambiance.
